Where required, a separate financial privacy notice may supplement or control the handling of certain nonpublic personal information.
FundMelo’s services are intended for businesses and authorized business representatives. Personal information may still be collected about owners, principals, guarantors, applicants, representatives, and partners when needed for a commercial request or relationship.

FundMelo may use information for the following business and commercial purposes:
- Receive, review, organize, and process business-funding requests.
- Verify identity, ownership, authority, business information, financial information, and submitted documents.
- Match or submit requests to participating capital providers, funders, lenders, financial institutions, or other commercial-finance providers.
- Communicate about applications, documents, offers, status updates, contracts, funding, servicing, renewals, and relationship management.
- Evaluate and onboard ISO, broker, referral, vendor, or other business relationships.
- Provide customer support, respond to inquiries, maintain records, and improve the user experience.
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, misuse, security incidents, unauthorized activity, or violations of agreements.
- Comply with legal obligations, court orders, subpoenas, regulatory requirements, recordkeeping duties, and lawful requests.
- Conduct analytics, monitor website performance, troubleshoot, develop services, and improve business operations.

Participating providers and financial-services parties
We may disclose application, business, ownership, financial, identity, and document information to capital providers, funders, lenders, financial institutions, banks, payment companies, verification services, underwriting services, credit-related providers, and other parties involved in evaluating, offering, documenting, funding, servicing, or managing a commercial transaction.
Service providers and vendors
We may disclose information to companies that provide hosting, cloud storage, communications, document management, electronic signature, customer relationship management, analytics, fraud prevention, identity verification, bank-data services, professional services, security, support, and other operational services.
Partners and authorized business contacts
If a request is submitted through an ISO, broker, referral partner, consultant, or authorized representative, we may disclose status information and transaction-related information to that party, subject to applicable agreements, permissions, and law.

Retention

Submitting a request

We may verify your identity, authority, state of residence, and relationship with FundMelo before completing a request. FundMelo does not knowingly use or disclose sensitive personal information for purposes that require a right to limit under California law beyond purposes reasonably necessary to provide requested services, maintain security, prevent fraud, comply with law, or perform other permitted activities.
FundMelo does not knowingly sell or share the personal information of individuals under 16 years of age.
Each category is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the disclosed purpose, legal or contractual obligations, security, fraud prevention, records, disputes, or enforcement. The retention period depends on the nature of the information and the relationship.
